History of type at MoMa - permanent exhibition

Yesterday at MoMa I also got a chance to take some shots of the permanent type-exhibition at MoMa. If your into typography you should go see it if you're there anyways... And again I apologize for the yellow pictures...

Quote of the day

Cool interior

I don't remember where I got this, but I think the interior decoration (it might be for a bar/restaurant) is really cool...

I want a pug!

NYC mug from Starbucks

I simply had to buy this porcelain mug with the skyline of NYC from Starbucks! I love the ceramic texture that comes out of the cup and the black/white colors!

MoMa (Museum of Modern art) New York City

Every time I visit New York City I have to go to MoMa, and yesterday so I did! I ended up taking more photos of the graphics and types from around the museum, than the actual "artpieces", so that's what I'm bringing here! The last two pictures are their leaflets and I loved the rainbow-color-scheme so much that I had to take one of each with me... Sorry MoMa! Oh, and I apologize for the bad colors on the pictures, I wasn't allowed to use flash so their all yellowish...
I also took a special series of photographs from their permanent type-exhibition, I might bring that tomorrow!

Evren Tekinoktay at IMO gallery, Copenhagen

It's sunday morning here in New York City – the weather is gray and I'm kinda in the mood for blogging a bit. I went through some photographs I've taken over the last few months and came by these, which I never got to post. Some months ago I went to the IMO gallery at Vesterbro, Copenhagen with my friend Julie, to check out the exhibition of danish/turkish artist Evren Tekinoktay. I really adore her feminine and creative universe, and would have brought some of the pictures earlier on – but better late than never, right?! Oh, and I would very much like the book, full of collages, drawings and so on...

WERK paperline

I actually don't remember where I found this, but I'll show it anyway... Nice work for austrian indstrial design firm WERK, love the mixture of black, white and bright yellow - and the stripes!
