In the mood for some personal inspiration..

This is not a normal post from my side, but I want to share anyways... Having started up on my own and at the same time trying to figure out what it is that I really wish and want for myself, both in the short run as well as in the long, I'm reading a lot of books and articles on self development and find myself really receptive. Today I came across this 6-year old speech by Steve Jobs, and what I really find inspiring in this particular talk is his use of death as a motivator... I've always felt the same way and have really tried to measure up my decisions in life with the fact that if I should die tomorrow, I want to live my life to the fullest today... but somehow I seem to get just as surprised and overwhelmed everytime I'm reminded...
So here it is - if you should have something that inspires you, being and article, interview or video, please feel free to share, I would love that! :)

So here it is, my first real project portfolio; identity, art direction and graphic design for jewellery designer CORT KOPPEL. Charlotte Cort Koppel who is currently studying Ba(Hons) Jewellery Design at the prestigious Central Saint Martins, is the talented designer behind the brand with an exclusive taste and a relatable scandinavian design! Working on my portfolio

Today I'm working on my portfolio. I'm finding old stuff and trying to style different settings with some of the stuff I've made through the years... Can't wait to show you some of the pictures and finally introduce to you some of the things I do! Sadly I won't be able to show that much due to restrictions from my past work, but I'm good for a project or two besides that! ;) Have a nice day!

Some months ago I came across a new womens magazine called Stella and bought their 2nd edition (left) and today I bought their 3rd edition (right) and I'm not disapointed! I'm a huge sucker for magazines in general, but this one really stand out. A really lovely and inspiring magazine and I really adore the whole look and art direction... I create collages...

Sometimes I make collages with scissors and glue, both to make something different from what I do on a daily basis but I've also realized that it's a great way to "escape" and sometimes feels quite meditative, and since I've had an obsession with magazines for (at least) the past 10 years, I have a lot to choose from! Yesterday I started on a new one but haven't quite figured out how to put it together, but I think that I've found a lovely colorscheme, and can't wait to finish it! Below is a picture of the latest I'm working on – tomorrow I'll show you some of the one's I've made earlier on!
