I gave a few tips of some of my favorite spots in Copenhagen to German online magazine Westwing – home and living. They're having a nordic week theme and if you speak german you should definitely go have a look at the article: www.westwing.de/magazin

To those of you that doesn't speak German (including myself) I will post the tips in english (+ some of the tips that didn't make it to the article) later on today.

Friday moodboard

Todays moodboard mix. There's something very intriguing about the self service cover! And I love the simplicity of the apartment in the middle, as much as I would love to wear the super simple but amazing Celine stilettos. Last I really think the calender from Julia Kostreva is so cool – I would absolutely love to own that!

Madethought ten years

I absolutely love this different way of showcasing a portfolio, done by Madethought, who did this to celebrate their ten years anniversary. And their work is amazing! I already laid my eyes on these lovely pictures some years ago, but today when I came across them once again, I simply had to share. Their portfolio is really my style, and I would love to work on similar projects like these. Madethought website HERE.

POND SHOP

I came across these beautiful pictures from POND shop in Australia, and even though it's a shop, I think it's great inspiration for the home too.

Vintage Miniature Beetle

Today I've decided to sell my vintage WV Beetle from 1967, and even though it bring tears to my eyes, I think it deserves a better home! But I'm definitely saving this little miniature beetle as a great memory of 9 lovely years with the car! The glass-bowl is from a danish glassblower and designer – Yerst glas (they're having a sale on the 2th of November in Copenhagen, check out their facebook), the notebook is a favorite with the coolest print!

Interior editorial of my home in Alt for Damerne

My apartment is featured in the latest edition of the danish womens magazine Alt for Damerne, with an interior editorial styled and photographed by Sine Grenaa and Lasse Dencker.
I think the pictures turned out great and even though (and of course) not all the great pictures (ex from my kitchen and a bit more of my office) where chosen, I think this small editorial shows a great view of the overall look in my apartment, and it's definitely been a fun experience. (Even though I must admit that it's a bit weird to see yourself in a magazine.) Thanks to Sine and Lasse for the great work.

Photo love: Jeanloup Sieff

Today I'm totally in love with the iconic work of photographer Jeanloup Sieff. He has a lot of other great photographs to indulge in as well, so go google his name and see all of his great work!
(and aren't those two girls on the first picture the cutest!?)

Kartell Book by Taschen

I have a lot of different Kartell products in my home, including various lamps, a kaleidoscopic-ish footstool and the classic Componibili modular storage system (which appears to be the top selling Kartell product in Denmark.. who knew), but I actually never really thought about the Kartell history and how far it goes back, until the brand in collaboration with Taschen made this new book on their entire design legacy starting back in 1949! If you, like me, are interested in digging deeper in a great design company and see how they've managed to grow and evolve over time, but still achieves to stay true to their original design spirit and concept, you should definitely have a look at this book!

London illustrations by Ingrid Trollope

I just got back to Copenhagen yesterday, after 5 great days in London visiting good friends. Copenhagen is covered in snow and even though London was kind of rainy, it still was so much warmer in so many ways. It was my first time to visit London in 10 years, and even though I didn't really got to go and do the tourist-thing it was still nice to visit another city and have a break from work (kind off). So, on this occasion, todays post features some great and feminine editorial illustrations of London by Ingrid Trollope. I came across the editorial some some years ago, and really like the light pastel colors and the simple collage-expression – there's almost a romantic feel to it!
