My home – New livingroom

Finally some new photos of our new sofa in a corner of our "new" livingroom. Since moving together with my boyfriend 6 months ago, all the rooms in our apartment have been changed around and everything has been moved to a new place.
I'm in a more "simple" period in terms of decorating, but do feel that the sofa needs some more color added – currently I'm on the look for old Kelim pillows in some dusted, yet fresh colors!

(and yes – Elliot insisted on being in one of the photos, since he feels that it's his home too!
Well, all right then, Elliot!)

My homeoffice – a small glimpse

A small glimpse of a corner in my home office. The picture in the background is of my sister who was in an alternative fashion show at the Royal Danish Theatre some years ago during Copenhagen Fashion week, as a balletdancer starring in a show by danish art/fashion brand Moonspoon Saloon. The small drawer with glass fronts is an old vintage kitchen drawer from my grandmother.

'My Scandinavian Home' and my diamant posters

I just came by one of my favorite blogs "My scandinavian home" by swedish Niki, and love how she has styled her home with the Diamant & Diamant pattern posters from my webshop. I think that both the more graphic setup in the office (with the diamant pattern poster in the right top corner) and the more nature-ish feel from her living room is so cool!

Have a look at Nikis blog here and have a look at my webshop KATHAPULT DESIGNSHOP if you would like a poster to decorate your home too!

New in: Normann Copenhagen SKO shoerack

This weekend I went by the Normann Copenhagen flagship store in Copenhagen (Østerbro) to buy this cool and very useful shoerack named – SKO – for our hallway (I goes perfectly with the light grey wall! – I'll show you some pictures later when the entire hallway is done!). I love the perfect combination of the very nordic ask wood frame with the industrial look of the grey steel shelves. The shoerack is designed by Simon Legald for Normann Copenhagen – and it also comes in white. Learn more here.

Vintage Miniature Beetle

Today I've decided to sell my vintage WV Beetle from 1967, and even though it bring tears to my eyes, I think it deserves a better home! But I'm definitely saving this little miniature beetle as a great memory of 9 lovely years with the car! The glass-bowl is from a danish glassblower and designer – Yerst glas (they're having a sale on the 2th of November in Copenhagen, check out their facebook), the notebook is a favorite with the coolest print!

New bedroom – windowsill decoration

After my boyfriend moved back home to Copenhagen and in with me, the entire apartment has been in total chaos, since every room has got a new function! The place is now gradually beginning to look livable again, and I can soon start to take pictures here. (A lot of things have changed so I'm very excited). Our bedroom has now moved to another end of our apartment, a more calm place, and I've tried to make the room appear calm and cozy too. So here are some photos of one end of the windowsill with only black and white items.

Lately

Some of my instagram updates from the last week. I will get back to you with some nice updates soon!

Yesterday I took the time to do some shopping and finally found a nice leather skirt, that I've been looking for for months. And a nice nailpolish from Chanel and the best Vanillapowder from Urtekram.

I was so lucky to be invited on an Arne Jacobsen tour, driving around the city for hours and seeing some of his great work. The occasion was the release of one of his old design chairs – the Tongue – a very beautiful and forgotten design classic in the history of some of Arne Jacobsens designs, now restored and engineered by danish furniture company HOWE. I took a lot of pictures along the tour, and can't wait to share them with you – along with some great photos of the Tongue chair.

Made som healthy raw, glutenfree and sugarfree cocoa/coconut balls, and yes, even without all the fun stuff in them they were still amazing! (If I must say so myself.)

And something blue...

...no not wedding-related, but just a small still from my bedroom with my Hay Loop stand and my lovely cobalt blue dress from Topshop bringing some color to the room.

Bathroom / L:A Bruket

My bathroom has grown up – or at least it's on it's way to get a more mature look! Yesterday I bought this lovely handsoap from the swedish brand L:A Bruket who make handmade and ecological soap and spa products in the loveliest packaging. I like the very natural/rustic look of their products, and since I've only used black and white materials/colors in my bathroom, this single product gives my bathroom a totally different look. In Denmark you can buy their products in &otherstories or else go visit their website HERE.
The last picture I took (iPhone) is from their stand in &otherstories copenhagen with a range of their products. Lovely!

Currently...

... working a lot and trying to plan out my days with this lovely notebook from MoMa, bought a while ago in NYC! (comes in a pack with a black one too).
I've also had the time to do some shopping this weekend, including these two lovely blouses from "Storm & Marie" and "Club Monaco". I've read a lot of great things about the new Facial Scrub Mask from Rudolph Care – and besides the lovely packaging, I really must admit that the product is really amazing! – and I love how it's both a scrub and a mask at the same time (a great time saver!). Definitely recommendable! White Kubus candleholder from byLassen.

Interior editorial of my home in Alt for Damerne

My apartment is featured in the latest edition of the danish womens magazine Alt for Damerne, with an interior editorial styled and photographed by Sine Grenaa and Lasse Dencker.
I think the pictures turned out great and even though (and of course) not all the great pictures (ex from my kitchen and a bit more of my office) where chosen, I think this small editorial shows a great view of the overall look in my apartment, and it's definitely been a fun experience. (Even though I must admit that it's a bit weird to see yourself in a magazine.) Thanks to Sine and Lasse for the great work.

&tradition in my livingroom

Pictures from my livingroom today! It was love at first sight the first time I laid my eyes on these dark grey "spinning light" lamps from danish &Tradition, now hanging over my grey Hay tray tables in my living room.
