London Moodboard #1
In a week I’m leaving for London once again to visit my boyfriend who lives in the lovely city. I’ve always been a New York-girl and had only been to London once, until now, and the city is really growing on me. Every time I go, I fall in love with the city a little bit more, and could easily imagine myself living there! Since I’m just starting to discover all the great places, and really miss a great guide to the city for a person like myself, I’m starting to make a guide on my own and for that I need a really great London notebook – for writing down all my favorite places and places I want to visit. (If you have a great tip, just let me know!)
Me missing a really good London-guide with insider tips for a design minded girl like me, really made me think about my own city, and I’m seriously considering making a small unpretentious guide to all my favorite spots in Copenhagen. I’ll let you know!
Moodboard:
My London mood! Street picture from my last weekend in London. I need to take more pictures this time! And this time I want to see Big Ben (it’s been 10 years since the last time). And then I want to find myself a new bag – maybe a lovely mulberry leather one! And wear a floral blazer since I’m counting on the sun to shine! Can’t wait!

A corner in my diningroom
A small table setting in a corner of my diningroom – the vases are the original lyngby vases inherited from my grandmother, wood tray table by Hans Bølling, antique crystal carafe and the newest elle magazine from Denmark. The collage in the background is a corner of the Headpiece collage you can find in my webshop

Elegant Parisian apartment
Oh, to live in an apartment like this...! Minimalistic and very elegant at the same time with great contrasts and lovely clean-cut art. The stucco work ceilings and walls are do die for!! (and makes mine fade next to them!) I love everything about this apartment! (I would miss some colors in the long run, but the pictures are great!)

Details from my home office
I love personal home office spaces. My own home office is filled with a lot of stuff that I've organized in areas. The key to creating a personal space without having it to look too messy and chaotic, is to create some areas and spaces for your personal stuff, instead of spreading them all around the room. In my own office I've made a big black board where I hang some notes, magazine cut-outs and illustrations I make – kind of like a big moodboard – which easily can be changed as often as you wish, to create a different mood or color theme. (Try to select the things you hang on your board in the same color scheme – that way you'll create a coherency and calmness to the room, still showing your personal style)
As I have a lot of posters and frames and often change the pictures on my walls, I've gathered all (for the moment) unused frames, signs and paintings in one big stack up against the wall, so they make they're own atelier-ish look.
Another thing you can do is to hang up some small magazine cut-outs (or as me, my business cards and some pictures) in a small group with some colored tape, to make a nice little collage of things that might inspire you.
Good luck on creating your own personal office space!

Leaving for London
... only for a few days though! Writing this post from the airport on my way to London – this time I've brought my camera, so I'm planning on finding some great spots and taking some nice picture while getting to know the city a bit more. If you have any great London tips or places I simply must go, please leave a comment! :)

25 Free Romantic Fonts
Some time ago I came across these amazing 25 free romantic fonts, selected and posted by A Subtle Revelry, and since we're in the season of love (spring right!?) I thought it was a perfect share! Perfect to write a beautiful (almost handwritten) letter to a person you like or if you just need a specific font for your project! I've copied the links from the original post below the image! Enjoy!

New in – Black stilettos
On my visit to & Other Stories last week I totally fell in love with these half-open/half-closed stilettos in a rough matte black leather with a square heel. Even though I love classics, somehow I always end up buying items that are a bit off or different, but I just couldn't resist! Maybe I should take a picture of me wearing them so you can see them in action! I'll get back with that!
Kartell Book by Taschen
I have a lot of different Kartell products in my home, including various lamps, a kaleidoscopic-ish footstool and the classic Componibili modular storage system (which appears to be the top selling Kartell product in Denmark.. who knew), but I actually never really thought about the Kartell history and how far it goes back, until the brand in collaboration with Taschen made this new book on their entire design legacy starting back in 1949! If you, like me, are interested in digging deeper in a great design company and see how they've managed to grow and evolve over time, but still achieves to stay true to their original design spirit and concept, you should definitely have a look at this book!

Retro brass lamp
My mom and grandmother collects a lot of old things and sell them on various flea markets – yesterday she called me to tell that she had been given an old lamp from the 70's in a warm brass color from one of her neighbors and thought that I might me interested! I was, so now I'm just trying to figure out where to hang it – even though I'm really not into the retro style I think it's a great add on to the rest of the style in my apartment and goes well with all the greys and pastel colors I have... What do you think!?

Book design – Taxi Economy
I realized that I rarely show what I – more or less – spend all of my time doing; graphic design. Since I have a lot of different projects, my portfolio is very wide, but one of my latest projects was this bookdesign job, including the cover design, illustrations and overall text setup, for a danish business book explaining the overall economy through the taxi-industry.
Frederik Roijé Magazine rack
I totally love these magazine racks by Frederik Roijé; simple, functional and decorative at the same time. As I am the biggest magazine-o-holic ever my entire apartment is filled with magazines; on the floor, on tables, in the windows, on bookshelfs.. you name it, so I would love to display some of the most decorative magazine covers on a rack like this. I would probably go with a classic black or white one, but they're available in a lot of great colors.
You can buy the beautiful racks HERE (and by the way check out the rest of his great work!)

&otherstories
So, last week I finally got to fo visit the store everyone's been talking about lately – & other stories – and I loved it! Besides a lot of cool, nordic and very minimalistic clothes and accessories they also have a wide (I really mean WIDE) range of beauty products with the most amazing packaging design! I wanted to buy every single product from all the collections, but ended up with these two – a lovely Fig body scrub and a Cherry body lotion, both in amazing "I-want-to-eat-you" pastel colors! Visit the store in real life or online HERE (if you dare!). The concept and the atmosphere of the brand is amazing!
