Lately I've been working from home – both because I've been dealing with jetlag from my NYC-trip and working late hours and now because I have a little puppy to look after and make a home for in the beginning.. so I just took a few pictures of my home office and thought I'd share – I tend to move my stuff around a lot, change the things on the board, but this is what it looks like right now! A little messy, yet personal!

Puppy love
Here's the reason why I haven't made any posts the last week - my new adorable baby pug!! I got him a week ago and when I'm not working (with him lying by my side or sleeping on my lap) or taking him for a walk - we cuddle and play and sleep and blogging therefore hasn't been on the schedule. Anyways, I'll get back to it soon again! Have a nice day!

Stilleleben #1 from my home
I just came across this months old "stilleleben" I took of some of my vases and ceramics gathered in a small group (and since I like change, they've been moved around a lot since this picture was taken) ; some of them are new, some of them are inherited from my grandmother when she passed (especially the little bird makes me think of her everytime I see it <3), some a present and one of them was a prize in a lottery. It's funny how objects - that have no apparent value for others - can have such meaning and so many stories and memories linked to them for someone else - and that one day they will just be pure objects again or maybe be part of someone elses stories.. Does that make sense?! :) Either way, just thought I'd post the picture!

Quotes and writings of the day
It's been a while since I've posted any quotes in here, so I decided to make a little collection in one post; ONE to think about, ONE to laugh about, ONE to dream about, ONE to cry about and some just because they are true! If you like more of this, you can visit my tumblr blog with a lot of quotes, texts and beautiful pictures. CLICK HERE :)
PINK and bake
Apparently the theme of today is pink, so why not go all the way!! I decided to take a break from work to clear my head for an hour or two and ended up baking "raspberry-chips" (what we in danish call hindbærsnitter! - something I wanted to do for my birthday, but never had time too) - and since I decided to make them all pretty and pink I thought I'd might as well take a picture - of both them and me (see - my lips are pink too!!) So, no, this is not turning into a food-blog, but today it's friday! Guess that's reason enough for me! (I've decided to give them away to friends and family so I don't end up eating all of it..)
Have a nice friday!

Round Hill Music - Identity
I really like this identity from NY-based agency Established NYC - and how it seems to appeal to both artist as well as to more serious financial businesses and I really think the idea of the tape is quite clever...
(also there may be a slight chance that my weakness for hot pink make me like this even more, but I guess we'll never find out..) :)

Glass and Porcelain milk jugs
I'm finally home again, but I've been so busy with work that I haven't really prioritized any of my time to make posts in here. But thought I'd share with you some of the design-related things I bought in NYC. Apparently I've grown a small love for porcelain and crafts in general and when my sister showed me this small milk jug made out of glass (MOMA shop) I had to get it - it matches my milk jug in white porcelain I bought a few years back (Seletti, Illums Bolighus) so now I guess I've got a base to start a little collection.. yay!
Here some photos of the two milk jugs together - aren't they cute!

With LOVE from NYC
Sorry for the lack of posts lately, I've been very busy with a lot of exiting and time-consuming projects - both private and with my little graphic design business, and furthermore I'm now in NYC and work/shop/live/try-to-relax here, so blogging haven't been my top priority lately. Thought I'd might share some stills from my trip here in NYC, though. I'll be back soon! (All pictures taken with my iPhone, so sorry for the lack of quality...)
Quote on the wall in NIKE shop; sometimes I really feel like this:
Shopping - a lot of shopping (here a snap from the category; white bags and packaging) ;)
Pink envelopes, pink "zebra"-notebook, pink tape, pink love poems book (love poems book from my new favourite bookstore in NYC - Bookmarc on Bleecker - more to come...)
Quote on the wall in the converse store in Soho, where I - at the age of 25 - bought my very first pair of converse sneaks - all black! (and noooo, it's not me they're referring to...)
I LOOOOVE books, and this is a small selection of the books I've bought in NYC (and the airport) so far - not that many on graphic design yet... Especially I can't wait to read the new translation of "The Second Sex" by Simone de Beauvoir (an 800 page motherfucker...)!
I've made a few posts earlier on, on papercut/paperworks, and I simply had to bring these astonishing real life - huge - paperworks from the windows at Bergdorf/Goodman right now - I think they're soooo amazingly beautiful...
Cute oval frames with cute animal drawings inside...
... and last but not least, some more personal pictures of me from around the city; from left: shopping in warm, sunny, february weather - having lunch and a glass of wine at Le Pain Quotidien in Soho - our lovely view at central park when having breakfast at our hotel!
Thats's it for now, I might make a new update or two while I'm here...
