With consumerism at an all time high and branding playing an ever more important role in consumers buying choices, Mash Creative felt a desire to challenge what has become ‘The Norm’. Mash Creative believe there is a niche in the market for a collection of products which turns conventional branding on its head. S/O/T/O (State of the Obvious) is a range of merchandise and apparel which does just that. As the name may suggest, the collection consists of branded items which State the Obvious. Especially I like the Mug Boxes. Check out the rest of their work at MashCreative.com

KCR identity by Studiobeige
Spring is near (well - at least I pretend) and thought I'd bring this bright and cheerful identity made for KCR by Studiobeige. I love the green and blue colours and again I find the use of triangles and oblique lines (as in the Nike website earlier posted) very appealing.

Gibson identity by Coöp
I like the identity for New Zealand menswear label - Gibson - made by Coöp, but in fact what I think I really like about it is the way it is presented.

Nike Art Challenge website by Momkai
Some time ago I did some research for a webdesign job I had, and found this dynamic website for Nike Challenge made by Momkai. I really like the use of triangles and oblique lines, since webdesign often tend to be in more squared and horizontal/vertical lines.
Krakatau magazine, Nicole Martens
Some time ago I saved these pictures for inspiration, and thought that I might share them with you. Magazine design for Krakatau magazine, made by Nicole Martens - check out the rest of her work which is a mixture between graphic design and art.. very inspiring!
